Gill Brooke

Chair of Trustees

Gill lives in Woburn Sands, and works within the community in a voluntary role, having recently been Mayor of the town. Gill is a family person, with 2 grown up girls and 2 grandchildren and also care for her mother and father.

Gill has been associated with Sports Traider for the last 5 years, firstly as an employee, more recently returning to help as a trustee. With a background in sales, customer services, and event organisation, Gill uses her people skills to enjoy working with her fellow trustees and the Sports Traider team.


Keith Temple


Keith is a retired Councillor and Mayor of Woburn Sands. His background is computing with a career ranging from MD of a computer hardware company to Computer Team Leader for Cranfield School of Management MBA student support. Prior to retirement, Keith changed direction and worked for a local council in one of our country's most depressed areas.

Keith has many voluntary roles including Medical Dogs, Prostate Support Group, Stables Theatre and local event roles. Also, Keith is a trustee of Love Woburn Sands.

To keep him busy Keith has 4 children, 3 of whom I brought up as single Dad. He also has 5 grandchildren.

Keith says ``Sports Traider is an honour to be associated with. I intend to bring my commercial and ground level experience to the table supporting our dedicated staff and focusing on the welfare of those who are in need of help.

Adam Irvine


Adam is an experienced fundraiser specialising in grants, trusts and foundations, as well as advising on other aspects of charitable income generation. Working within the industry since 2008, Adam has developed a wide skill set and deep understanding of how to maximise charity income, working with some of the Country's leading sports clubs, organisations and charities, on delivering crucial projects from a region-wide sports participation project engaging tens of thousands of young people, to working with a support partner for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Lance Haggith

Founder and President

Lance has been the driving force behind the charity for the last 10 years and is equally committed to the next 10. Lance’s role means he connects with funding partners, high profile supporters, volunteers and beneficiaries, all on the same day! His passion is to engage with more of each group to increase the impact of the charity.


Martin Keech

Chief Operations Officer

Martin is responsible for all Retail Operations.He ensures that the stores have sufficient stock to achieve their individual goals, he also develop and trains the volunteers so that they can learn skills that will enable them to move on to full time employment.

After working for over 40 years in the textile industry, Martin is now using his retail skills to help out this very worthy Charity. He takes great pride in supporting vulnerable youngsters to learn a trade and give them a stepping stone into full time employment.
